New one for the "Beastie Boys tribute" group show at Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles opening this week. On thursday to be precise. That show will be awesome. Looking forward seeing the rest of the work.

The details in this painting reveal soem obscure knowledge of the Beastie Boys history...Nathaniel Hornblower...but the Slayer tag, is that in reference to Rick Rubin and his Def Jam/heavy metal production (and sampling) era? Or am I reading into it too much?
