Pug Town

Yesterday I inked this little puppy. It might end up as a letterpress print soon. I'll keep y'all posted on that. In the meantime you can purchase the original HERE.

It was all inked with my pentel brush pen and a couple of micron pens on Bristol vellum. I had to come back with some white gouache here and there.

Toronto Burlesque Festival.

Yesterday I worked on a poster/t-shirt design for an upcoming burlesque festival in Toronto. This is what it looks like. I worked with a bunch of bitmaped halftones because I was working with only 3 colors and I wanted the final image to have more texture. Pretty happy with the result considering that I was sick as hell all week.

Oh, and I received my copy of the Kustom Graphics book and I have to say that it's one hell of a nice book if you like Kustom Kulture artwork. The layout is also really nice. Get your hands on a copy if you can.

Kustom Graphics Book.

I have about 8 pages in a new book called "Kustom Graphics" , published by Korero Books, and the list of artists featured in that book is pretty nice. Lotsa good stuff in there. You can view the listing on Amazon but please try to get it at your local book store.

SKULLS ARE PLAYED OUT...NOT!!! art print.

Hey ya'all.

About 2 months ago I designed an art print and I just received the final product in the mail. The poster was printed by Monsterpress in B.C and they did a killer job.

Only 70 available to the public (yes, you) on the 75 that were printed.

They are 15x25 inches 2 color screenprinted on 80lb white stock. The 2 colors are Black and Metallic gold. Looks great in person.

Get it there: Gigposters.com

You can view the printing process thread on gigposters.com

Thanks fer looking.
